The first Saliva album was pretty awesome. I remember knowing Josie & Co. back in the late 90’s, when I was in Memphis. Josie was still a struggling bouncer at one of the strip bars, and performed on stage in a suit, and sunglasses. It was an odd look at the time. Little did we know that the band would develop a hip-hop style. Their first album has some great stuff. including this one, which I think, still gets played at sporting events. One of my most popular songs. I take no responsibility for ruining the original for you forever.

A little ditty I put together during the downtime prior to the release of “St. Anger.” You might recall that James was going through some tough personal issues. I never mean any malice when I write these things. I just want people to laugh. Most of the time, the bands get it. The band has allegedly heard this one…and were “amused.” Metallica has a great sense of humor. One of my most-requested tunes. Enjoy!!!

I think this is at least the 3rd…maybe 4th different Lars Ulrich interview on this site. This time, it’s the night of Game 7 of the ALCS between the Red Sox & Yankees in 2004. All day we were screwing around with the Metallica guys, and it was Lars’ turn. Lars…can hang. And just obliterates Dave Mustaine. We also found out that the cheese steak I stole was actually Lars’

From my second stint at WAAF, in Boston. Everyone knew I was a big Oakland Raiders fan. But…The New England Patriots were on their way to their 2nd Superbowl in as many years. So, I put this together pretty quick. It went over well. It was tough for me to sing their praises with conviction. Trust me.
