Being a *huge* Mr. Big / Billy Sheehan fan, I was intrigued when I heard he was involved in a new band with Richie Kotzen and Mike Portnoy. Given the talent involved, I knew they were going to be musically proficient. The question was; “Would the songs suck?” I’m happy to report…they do not. Unfortunately, I was unable to persuade the band to play live during their appearance. So, you’ll have to take my word for it on this one. Or, you could check out their CD, or box set (I know!). This, is one of the best bands in music today. They bring an energy, and enthusiasm that is infectious. So far…they remain a fairly well-kept secret. I’m hopeful that changes sooner than later. Because they really deserve it. I’m also extremely stoked that they let me produce their live performances when they stop by. Hope you enjoy this appearance by Vintage Trouble.
