Another of my favorite bands. The grossly underrated Cult came and played for Kansas City early on in the “Born Into This” tour. I got the chance to host the World Premiere for that CD nationally. (Eventually that audio will be uploaded as well) Not long after this tour, The band announced that they were “done making albums.” Not broken up. But, not making full-length records anymore. So, I guess (until further notice) I hosted the World Premiere of the final release from The Cult. Enjoy!

This band is so well-loved. It’s really great to see how much they’ve grown over the years. In Kansas City, where this interview was done, they’re almost god-like. Hard to believe it’s been almost ten years already. A band that works as hard as they do, deserves success. I’m not a huge fan of their tunes. I am a huge fan of them. Enjoy.

When I started doing this in 1986, I got a chance to interview Motorhead. They were my first. You never forget your first. In fact the picture to the left is my left leg. I did it to pay proper tribute. This was the only American show the band did in 2007. Coincidentally, they were also the last band I introduced prior to taking the gaffe in Kansas City in 2009. Yet another example of why we employ the beloved dump button. The English love their potty mouth.

These guys are just road pigs. Always out. Always ready to bring it. And they came and hung in KC for four days around this show. And they pull grade-A tail! Again…I am the good looking girl’s best friend. Fun Fact: Rev Theory’s music, was used as the opening theme for the cool show “Blue Mountain State.” Loved that show. Hope they got paid!

At the Family Values show in Kansas City, we renew our friendship. I usually get flak when I say this…but, I find Stone Sour *vastly* superior to Slipknot. Always have. They can be as heavy as the ‘knot, and as mellow as you’d ever want. Truly and unlimited band. Always enjoy when they release new music. On this day, Sean & Corey do the hang. And of course, it’s the pre-delay feed!
