Here I am, filling in for my friend Mark Hamilton, who’s now working at the legendary KROQ in Los Angeles. Doing nights on WBCN was always interesting. Boston has a great radio audience. And, now that it’s gone, I *SO* appreciate my time on the legendary WBCN more with each listen. Feel free to laugh at the accents…it’s what everyone does.

Here I am once again. Sitting in on a Friday night show. When I started my career, I did college radio on Thursday nights…traditionally the “party night.” In Bostron, if the night ends in a “y,” they’re drinking. You think I’m kidding? Go ahead and google “drunk Boston.” It’s awesome. So, I work, when people are drunk. Guess after almost 30 years, I’ve gone nowhere huh? Enjoy!

WBCN’s Night Guy was a good friend of mine named Mark Hamilton. I used to love filling in for him because his audience was fun. And…I found that my old audience was listening now too! Nothing more humbling, than having listeners follow you to your new radio station. Here’s another example of me on WBCN from 7-Midnight!

When I worked for WBCN, I wasn’t really doing a show. I was their swing guy. I filled in everywhere, and they didn’t have a full time slot for me. So, I’d show up at all times of the day. It was kinda cool because I got to interact with different people all the time. And…my listeners from WAAF were still finding me. It was a lot of fun. Here’s an example of me working a weekend shift on WBCN in Boston. Sadly, the station is no longer there. But, at the time it was the Patriots flagship broadcast station. So…we made a big deal out of it. As a Raiders fan, this was acting at its best 🙂 I’ve always hated the Patriots. I always will.
