Another band that’s been through the wars for a long time. Edsel is always fun to talk to, and we throw Tripp under the bus for being on reality TV, and talk a bit of football! Who knew Dope were such big football fans? Just goes to show ya…You can’t judge a book by its cover. Edsel knows his stuff.

Here’s Corey! This time he calls right before Slipknot kicks off their “All Hope Is Gone” tour. We talk a bit about what it takes to get in shape physically to go on tour, and show appreciation for the fact that Slipknot are proudly Midwestern! Corey’s always a good time. I’ve also always thought he was much more talented than either Slipknot, or Stone Sour allow him to exhibit.

Some fun with the boys in Drowning Pool. Another one of those bands who can hang, and you want to do well because they’re such good people. They embody the real-life Spinal Tap. Or, if this works for you better, a modern-day Anvil. They’ve endured some of the worst luck I’ve ever seen. And yet…handle it with grace & class. Here we are goofing off before they go onstage in front of 50,000 in Kansas City!

When ordering sex toys via mail…always a good idea to make sure they are delivered to the right address. Coming (HA!) up with a good excuse is an exercise in creativity! A couple of things to always keep in mind…*usually* the hotter the chick sounds, the bigger she is. Joined on the phone by Mike McCready from Pearl Jam. Seems like Pearl Jam are taken way too seriously. As if, because they came from the “grunge scene,” they have to be moribund. Not sure why this is the case. I’ve always found the band to be fairly outgoing and gregarious. A little-known fact; Mike is *really* into the band UFO! In fact, he has a cover band that plays a benefit for Colitis research every year. Not the first thing I’d have considered out of Pearl Jam. Proves my point a bit. We talk about that, and the “return” of Pearl Jam.
