Any bit that works…should be milked. Another in the series of letters that gets circulated via the internet around Xmas time. Did these in Sacramento when I was on 98 Rock. I still use them at whatever station I’m on at the time. They still seem to hold up. From my charity CD, “No Talent Ass Clown.” I bet you can find used copies around Sacramento, or on Amazon. I did this in tribute to my good friend Lou Brutus’ “Fa King.” I used to listen to Lou, when he was on the Rock station in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a master of the sublime back then. And then, he went to Chicago and created the classic “Fa King.” Which remains a brilliant bit. So, I was looking for something one day to make fun of. And, this ended up being it. 1st Law of Radio; Steal your bits! Thanks Lou!

This was one of my first parodies when I got to 98 Rock, in Sacramento. The day they executed him, I took a moment to remember. I wish it’d been better recorded. i think it got a little muddy. But, we made the point. I’m sure Pearl Jam would’ve appreciated it. This is an example of my philosophy; “The target, must be deserving.” And so, I felt not the slightest bit of guilt when doing this one. From: “No Talent Ass Clown”

Commuting is a pain. You are dealing with traffic, and people on their phones, and other annoyances. More & more, people are spending extended periods of time in their cars. Sometimes, it can be a frustrating experience. You don’t need that kind of aggravation. And so. in an attempt to help you manage commuting more efficiently, here’s my “new age natural stress relief”

I found out a few years ago, that some people are freaked out by clowns. I had no idea. Seriously! Adults…frightened by clowns. Coincidentally, one of the big songs we were playing at the time was Tommy Lee’s “Hold Me Down.”  I played it for him. He loved it! In fact, he referenced it, during a moment of frustration with his record company, that was broadcast on MTV. They were doing one of their documentaries on an artist, an Tommy’s solo career was the focus. So…Tommy gave my joke-song, more press than his single got. Win!
