Another in the years-long comedy series between one of the greatest guitar players on the planet, and yours-truly. This time, Zakk comes to town to catch a Sox/Yankees game at Fenway. I have a DVD of this night. As soon as I can, I’ll put it up. As is often the case…we employed the “dump button” liberally. But here on the internet, you get the unedited feed!

A sample of what usually went on during the show at WAAF. It was always a crapshoot when answering phones. In fact, every day at WAAF was like a game of Russian Roulette. Sometimes, you win…and sometimes, this happens. I wish I could tell you any of this was made up. And no…the Zakk Wylde commercial never made it to air.

T-Bone phones in to plug Crue returning to the Boston area. Remind me to tell you the Shrek story some day. See…Tommy and I were *almost* friends for a while. When he was a solo artist, and I was in Sacramento, we’d pass e-mails back n’ forth. Somewhere along the way, he started calling me Shrek. It stuck for a while. And then, Motley Crue got back together…and we lost touch. True Story: the last time I heard from him, he was flying on a famous rapper’s jet, with a very short music legend from Minneapolis’ wife (allegedly!)

Here’s the infamous “douchebag” interview. Scott was getting ready to put out his solo CD, and the Program Director of WAAF at the time, was friends with the guys from Creed. So, Scott called in a favor. I told the PD that I’d go easy…but 40 seconds in, I drop it on him, and he stays on the air with me for a half-hour. Gotta give him credit for hanging in. He was a GREAT sport.

Another “Go Red Sox” song from the 2004 World Series run! If you were in Boston during this, it was crazy! A very fun time! We did this song before the “bloody sock.” It just happened that Schilling was on a tear at the time. So, the timing worked out nicely. Little did we know that the Sox would create the drama they did. Boston went nuts in 2004. Sox fans became complete douchebags soon thereafter.
