Pre-Ozzfest Ozzy checks in to plug the Box Set. This was during a time when Ozzy was off the wagon. He was calling a bunch of stations randomly. To talk about Ozzfest so that he didn’t have to deal with Sharon’s cancer and his family issues at the time. He hid behind work to mask his issues.

Ozzy in one of his other  appearances. During this one, we discuss the infamous Iron Maiden incident. And Ozzy has had issues keeping Brother Zakk around for years. This new breakup shouldn’t surprise anyone. And Ozzy has a mancrush on Lemmy!

Same Metallica show in Philly. We spent the whole day in a room with about a dozen other stations. It was like a “radio row” type thing. Apparently, Metallica did this to help push tickets sales in other cities. I guess it worked. This time I hang with Kirk. Found out he’ll occasionally shred in front of contest winners just to assert dominance. that’s just funny.

We were in Philadelphia on the night the Red Sox completed the greatest comeback in sports history. Later that night, the owner of the Philadelphia Flyers would find out that we were from Boston, and set us up in a luxury box, so that we could watch the game while the band was on stage. It was pretty bad-ass! This is me f*cking with Jaymz. He’d ordered a couple of cheese steaks…because that’s what you do. “When in Rome,” applies.

So, I got to go to Joe Perry’s house to talk to him about his solo CD. We drove down and hung out at the famous “Boneyard” studio. And then, Joe & I sat down in his “gun room” (fun fact, he put them all away prior to the interview. This was a World Premiere broadcast, and I got to make fun of Joe’s singing, and the fact that he dropped his Fat Boy in the driveway!
