Yes…I Did Call Scott Stapp A Douchebag

Here’s the infamous “douchebag” interview. Scott was getting ready to put out his solo CD, and the Program Director of WAAF at the time, was friends with the guys from Creed. So, Scott called in a favor. I told the PD that I’d go easy…but 40 seconds in, I drop it on him, and he stays on the air with me for a half-hour. Gotta give him credit for hanging in. Keep in mind, the Sox were down to the Yankees at this point, with no chance of coming back. Or, so we thought. Little did we know what would transpire. Either way, we had a blast.

Hanging out at a Hooters. Giving away tickets to the Celtics playoffs, and registering people for a Harley Sportster. We needed to come up with a good “bar game.” I can’t take credit for this one. My boy “Bamboo,” who now works for the San Diego Padres, came up with it. We’d never done it before, and I think we made something out of nothing fairly quickly. Did I mention it’s a family show!
