During these calls, I&#8217;ve found Chris to be somewhat evasive, and (dare I say it) slightly untruthful as to the real answer to some questions. I like Chris. There&#8217;s no doubt the guy is\u00a0 one of the cornerstones of a musical movement. I do get the impression that he&#8217;s a reluctant (pardon the pun) voice. Hear for yourself&#8230;This one begins with me asking him if he&#8217;s still <em>in<\/em> Audioslave. Rumor had it, he was leaving. Turns out he was. And we revisit the original conversation. Chris actually cops to lying about some stuff. And then we get into the oft-rumored &#8220;Audioslave broke up before the first CD and weren&#8217;t going to last anyway&#8221; discussion. And, he and I go pretty deep into geek-music-fan discussion. When Soundgarden reunites&#8230;don&#8217;t be surprised.
