The CD is called “Born Into This.” This one-hour premiere ran on Rock & Alternative stations all over America. It was an amazing experience for me to be able to sit down with Ian Astbury, Billy Duffy & Chris Wyse to discuss the recording process and what makes the band tick. I’ve been fortunate to have been able to interview the band on several occasions. Considering they’re one of my favorite bands of all-time…I always remind myself how cool my job is. I have purposely uploaded this in mono and at a low bit rate. Lots of people spent a lot of time putting this together for the broadcast. It sounded amazing when it happened. But, here…it is presented for archival and your listening enjoyment. Thanks to the band, their manager Tom Vitorino, Mike Parish & everyone at FMQB for flying me out to Hollywood and allowing us to do this at the legendary Capitol Records building. Hope you enjoy!
