You are truly a gifted radio personality! I have listened to many in your profession especially on the KC radio station in which you worked and nobody compares. I found your shows to be informative (I learned a lot about music) and very funny...a complete program. I could always count on hearing some Van Halen "Dave style" when you where on the air. People in radio come and go and I don't think too much about them but you are different Paul, I miss hearing you on the air waves. I wish you the very best!

I just wanted to say it was a blast to listen to you over the years!!! You made me laugh historically!!! Your intros were memorable. Miss your strong radio voice, Your Friday Jokes and your Drive at 5. The station, as I have said before will not and has not been the same without you. We were all hoping you would stay in Kansas City, as we ALL we be sadden by this. Where ever you go we will be sure to follow and listen. Thanks for putting up with us listeners and your LOYAL FANS. You will always have a place in my mind, as I think you are the greatest DJ of all. NANCY T

We didn't get to spend a lot of time together but the time we did I learned a lot from you. We know some of the same people in this industry and it is always nice to see another perspective on any situation. You made me laugh and also think about current events. You have an amazing talent for sports and an ear for good music that is often pushed out of mainstream. I do miss hearing you but I know that you'll excel at your next gig whenever and wherever it may be.

Here's to a fantastic 2010 Paul.

Should Rock BE what listeners WANT to hear! Honestly don't know why that is so hard for stations to figure out. My ideal station format would be 20 hours of shut the hell up and rock with your show in the afternoon!

Good luck and hang in there!

Still miss listening to you on the way home from work. I was laid off in August, so I know what you mean about the unemployment. At least you're not getting the pitance they give us in Missouri! Look forward to hearing you again!

I really enjoyed listening to you man. When you came on the air the afternoon picked up and the day went by alot better. I don't know what you consider an accomplishment in your business, but if it is having entertained listeners and loyal fans then you have reached the top my friend. Take care and best of luck.

New adventures, new opportunities. Maybe a new bike...

Well said, Paul. It is truly a shame when you are actually "too" good at what you do that it intimidates others. Never lower your standards because of what others may feel about your talent. Many, many people believe in you and it is SO great to know that you believe in yourself just as much. That is key. Although your fans hate the idea of your not being on air in KC, we all know you will move on to bigger and better things. Hopefully we can still hear you online wherever you may go. So many want to reach out and help you but so many of us feel we have nothing to offer you other than moral support. Then again, sometimes that is just what a person needs. You ARE the best....you have proven that and will go on to continue being the best. Peace.

I know I have said this in the past on FB, and Myspace blogs but you are the real deal as far as a good DJ goes. I am sure that you did have an idea that this could someday be a possibility, however, one doesnt' really look at it as a reality until it happens to them. Any one of those others still at the station could be gone tomorrow the way this works....no one is safe. Everyone should have a back up plan. Yes, easier said than done...as I dont have a back up plan either if I were to lose my job. Nothing wrong with the unemployment issue....my hubby is on unemployment....only thing wrong with it is , as you stated above, it's not enough really. So then we are forced to make cuts and do with out things we have enjoyed, but like you said....they are just things, stuff...none of it means anything unless you can be happy and enjoy it. Thats hard to do when your worried about finding a job, and making jack to pay bills.
Like I have said before....you have major support in this city. Something will pan out eventually. You are a true, stand up guy and I bet a hell of a friend to many. Those that called themselves your friends, that have fallen by the wayside.....it's their loss. It is these trying times where you know who your true friends are. I wish nothing but the best to you and if I never actually meet you, I can say that at least on the internet you are a true friend for many here. Take Care.
